Dr. med. dent. George Sirtes

George Sirtes graduated and received his doctorate from the University of Bern, Switzerland in 1995. Additionally, he completed numerous advanced microdentistry courses at the University of Pennsylvania (Prof. Syngcuk Kim).

1995 – 2000 Private practice in Zollikon (Dr. Jakob Zafran).

As a GP since 2000, he maintains a private practice with an amazing team in Zurich which focuses on endodontology and microsurgery.

As of 2003 he is a clinical instructor in the Endodontic division at the University of Zurich in Switzerland (Prof. Matthias Zehnder).

Since 1995 he is working intensively and almost exclusively with the dental microscope. His treatment modalities with the dental microscope range from composite fillings, fixed prosthodontics, endodontology to implantology and sinus lift procedures.

Between 1999-2002 he was a consulting dentist in the development of the first high-end ProErgo surgical operating microscope (Zeiss company, Oberkochen, Germany).

Dr. George Sirtes has published and lectured on various facets of endodontology nationally and internationally. Additionally, he has lectured worldwide on ergonomics and workflow in the multidisciplinary use of the dental microscope. Today he is a leading expert in the usage of the dental microscope and has a clinical experience of more than 20 years.

He is a member of numerous national and international dental associations.

Happily married since 1988 to the same woman and proud father to three sons.
